Membership of the Animal Geographies Working Group (AGWG) of the RGS-IBG is open to all. This includes existing and prospective Members/Fellows of the RGS-IBG, as well as non-members.
EXISTING RGS-IBG FELLOWS/MEMBERS:
Please complete the RGS Research Groups Membership Form; tick the box for the ‘Animal Geographies Working Group’ and return by email to rhed@rgs.org. You will need your RGS-IBG membership number, which can be supplied to you if necessary.
NON-RGS-IBG MEMBERS:
You can join the Animal Geographies Working Group without being a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG). To do so, please email the Working Group chair, Catherine Oliver, at C.Oliver@lancaster.ac.uk or contact us via the form on our website.
MEMBERSHIP OF RGS-IBG
Please consider joining the RGS to support its activities and those of the AGWG. It’s critical for the AGWG to maintain a minimum number of members paying the RGS-IBG subscription, so please do consider supporting the RGS-IBG and AGWG in this way. Non-geographers are of course very welcome to join the RGS-IBG if appropriate!
Continued existence of the AGWG will depend on maintaining a certain level of support and membership of fellows of the RGS-IBG, and our membership will be reviewed regularly. While there is therefore no need to join the RGS-IBG to join the AGWG, in terms of supporting its standing as an RGS-IBG Working Group, this would be very helpful. Please do consider it if you can, and if appropriate.
Benefits of membership
Membership of the AGWG gives access to the following benefits and opportunities:

Use our mailing list to share details of your individual news and activities.
